When I went for steamboat the problem that I always face is that I have to fight with a lot of people for the food. Whereas at Kichi Kichi, I do not have to worry about fighting for food with people instead the food will come in front of me at my own comfort which was circulated on a conveyor belt, unlike any others steamboat buffet which are hot and stuffy, I never even sweat at all in the air-conditioned environment. At Kichi Kichi they have a 6 type of soup base you can choose from (Mushroom, Prawn, Tom Yum, Herbal, Szechuan and Chicken). You do not have to worry that you can only taste one type of soup on the day as you just need to top up an additional $2 to change the soup base.
The other innovative thing they have is a hook under the table where you can hook your bag below the table, so you do not need to put the bag on the floor or place it on the chair which you sit on it where it cause discomfort when having meal.
They also come with chocolate hotpot (white and dark chocolate) where you can have your fruit dipped into the chocolate which I really love it especially after the meal. On top of that you do not have to order the buffet to have the chocolate hotpot as you can walk in to order for chocolate hotpot only (depends on the crowd in the store).
The only minus point I have for them is that the variety of choice for seafood is limited which is quite a disappointment for seafood lovers like me.
Overall I would like to give 8 out of 10 for the good food and service that Kichi Kichi provides.
