I've walked past Fruit Paradise in VivoCity many times but never had the chance to go in and try their fruit tarts. Their display outside the cafe always looks amazing though so I was really looking forward to trying their tarts. I couldn't have been more wrong. I guess I was expecting something more substantial under the fruits, but what I got was a spongy layer of cake and cream. I cannot be more explicit about this, I detest cream in cakes. Personally, I feel it's a useless ingredient. All it does is add a lot of calories and it doesn't even provide much flavour. It's a personal preference and maybe I'm not the best judge of this fruit tart since it all went downhill after I saw cream in it.Likes
