I tried Flyin' Bread for dinner yesterday and it's a Mediterranean grill wrap kiosk in 313 Somerset. After eating wraps from Sumo Salad and Salad Stop, I decided it's time for a change and to try something more exotic. Flyin' Bread it is! After eating wraps from Sumo Salad and Salad Stop, I decided it's time for a change and to try something more exotic. Flyin' Bread it is! I ordered the chicken wrap, which is actually grilled spiced chicken (it has a nice curried spice to it and it's tasty enough). Unfortunately, I felt that the chicken was too dry, and worse still, lacking in sauce/juices/gravy of any sort. The wrap comes with a choice of sauce (BBQ, chilli mayo or curry(? or was it yogurt)). I opted for BBQ since it seemed like the right choice given that I was eaten a Mediterranean grill wrap.

Not only was the sauce totally negligible (hence the wrap was actually really dry), but the whole wrap was kind of tasteless except for the chicken, which once again, isn't fantastic.

The wrap wasn't tightly wrapped at all (you can see from my photo here, I just took the first bite so you can see the filling)

The service wasn't fantastic either, I couldn't understand what the server was saying and I had to repeat myself countless times. Also, the service was really slooooow..... We literally waited eons before he took our order, and slooooooowly wrapped the wraps for us, and slooooowly asked which sauces we'd wanted.... Maybe he wanted it to be extra slow and made with extra love.. but I highly doubt that, hahaha.

I paid $5.50 for my wrap, which is much cheaper than the gourmet salad wraps you'll find at salad bars, and it kind of shows in the quality too, sadly ): It's mediocre in every sense and I know for sure I won't go back for seconds.
