I was feeling hungry and craving a snack, when my friend got me to try out the chicken pie from polar puffs & cakes!This was my first chicken pie from polar puffs and i must say, i'm quite happy with it! I loved the pastry which was flaky and crispy. The filling consists of some chicken chunks, carrots, peas, mushrooms, etc. It was alright only, but i did wish that the filling was thicker, creamier and more wholesome. The filling consists of some chicken chunks, carrots, peas, mushrooms, etc. It was alright only, but i did wish that the filling was thicker, creamier and more wholesome. (Plus point if there is a little 'soup' inside!) I also wished that the chicken chunks were bigger so that the main focus could be on the chicken.
Overall, the taste was pretty good and i liked the chicken pie, but the light, flaky crust really stole the lime light!
Other great pastry you should try is the curry puff! Yummy!
