If you are looking for a bowl of good yet cheap porridge, look no further than Chai Chee Pork porridge. It is certainly not outstanding to the extent of specially coming all the way just to have this. But if you are in this area, then it's worth a try. The minced pork pieces are generally lean and the porridge is gooey enough (instead of tasting like rice with water); add an egg and it tastes even better. For around $3 a bowl, this is reasonably priced and good.
