I was giving a friend from Canada an introduction to hawker centre food, so ordered both the popiah and carrot cake from this stall. The popiah cost $1.50 each and were a generous size. The skin was a bit bland, but inside had lots of different textures like mushy turnip and crispy bean sprouts. The dash of chili makes it even better. They also put hard-boiled egg in their popiah. The fried carrot cake was really good and they put 2 big prawns in it - the first time I've ever seen that! I ordered the $4 size and it was a bit smaller than average, but the prawns made up for it. The hawkers were friendly and made it nice and spicy for us - every little piece got eaten up!
