Yomenya Goemon brands itself as a Japanese Spaghetti House. Wait... Japanese and spaghetti - is that a trick question? My best friends chose to have the Chicken and Mushroom with Porcini Cream Sauce ($12.70++) and Cabonara with Yolk & Bacon ($12.10++). Both of which looked really good, but I know cream sauce base always make me feel really jelat easily and I wouldn't be able to finish it.

So I decided to go with the Lobster Bisque Soup Spaghetti ($15.50++). I really liked this version, much better than the usual Western spaghetti from other restaurants. Surprisingly, this Japanese restaurant managed to conjure up a really tasty and thickly rich broth for the pasta to be soaked in. Every mouthful is very solid and flavoured. I didn't stop till I finished the entire plate. Definitely recommended!

Here is a snapshot of the menu for me to remember the price:

I like the service here, they are really prompt and attentive to our needs. One disturbing point is the fact that we are seated right next to the glass windows, which totally made me feel like a zoo animal as onlookers keep peering into my food as if I can't see them. Yes I can. It's a two-way glass window yo.

This is easily one of the best places to eat in Star Vista for a "proper meal". I prefer this to the rest which I've tried - Boston Seafood Shack, Hot Tomoto and Central Hong Kong Cafe.
