What do you do when you have been nursing a ramen craving for three weeks? I'm quite surprised I could even tahan for so long without running to the nearest decent ramen place immediately. My white tonkotsu ramen! T__T So good, but only because I haven't seen it for so long. It definitely is pretty far off from the best, with two pointers which can be improved: ramen broth was too salty by any standards (even though I'm not drinking it on its own), and the egg is slightly overcooked (the gooey egg yolk is only on the surface). The ramen broth had a hint of dried fish flavour and not seaweed - I guess that's why it could be naturally saltier than other ramen. But the pork belly is by far one of the better ones!!! It is the melt-in-your-mouth quality and tears delicately as I divide them into half with my chopsticks for graceful eating. The ramen noodles were springy and have mini grooves in them which contained some of the ramen broth - making the noodles really flavourful as well! The other ramen places I've been don't use such interesting ramen noodles.

Ramen + choice of side (gyoza/ california maki/ many other options I can't remember, but these are my favourite) = $14.90++ for a set! The sides were in all honesty, very normal, but it's pretty value-for-money when you order as a set because chances are, one bowl of ramen is not going to make you full. At least for me.

The black tonkotsu ramen was heavily accented with a garlic taste which I didn't like (but lucky I didn't order this, heh). Go ahead if you like it that way.
Special mention to their awesome service - I've been complaining about awful service for too long that I'm starting to appreciate really good ones. Given that there were more service staff than customers, all of them remained very attentive at Menya Musashi Kodou - from the manager to the learning staff (as monitored by the manager) to the guy manning the cashier, there was not a moment that we needed to call for their attention. They even offered papery bibs for customers to prevent ramen splatters from staining our clothes. So much attention for detail. I'm already impressed and I know where to go if I needed a quick ramen fix again.
