The red bean pancake at Mr Bean is of a good quality! I especially adore the azuki beans inside. In fact, one can even bite into the skin of the red bean, thus proving that it's a high quality red bean filling unlike some other red bean pancakes that do not have the azuki bean texture. In fact, one can even bite into the skin of the red bean, thus proving that it's a high quality red bean filling unlike some other red bean pancakes that do not have the azuki bean texture. This red bean is one of the best red bean filling that I've eaten. However, I've always felt that their pancake is lacking in taste and texture. Sometimes, being left at the warmer for too long, the pancake is quite hard and dry. So unfortunately, I don't think it's a perfect combination but it's above average due to the filling.
