Somehow I have a big appetite and buffets do appeal to me, especially those like Sakura which offer international seafood buffet. For just a price, I get to eat as much as I want so it must be worthwhile right? That was my initial thought when I suggested to treat my mum and bf at Sakura, especially they were having this international seafood festival with unlimited sashimi (!!!) plus other stuff. That was my initial thought when I suggested to treat my mum and bf at Sakura, especially they were having this international seafood festival with unlimited sashimi (!!!) plus other stuff. My first stop was the sashimi corner when i took many pieces of sashimi and also other Jap food. There were indeed many choices and I couldn't wait to try all of them. However, the sashimi was not really fresh which totally defeat the purpose. Furthermore, when I ordered the hotplate seafood, the black pepper gravy simply made the dish too spicy and the seafood was not fresh too.
Even though Sakura is a family-friendly buffet restaurant with a wide range of food to choose from, the quality of the food is not up to standard and is rather disappointing..
