Located in an extremely secluded area in Changi, cars are a preferable mode of transport to this laid-back Coastal settlement. We gathered here together with relatives to celebrate my dad's birthday, and it was a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city area as there were very few cars.

We were welcomed by the beautiful antique that highlights the Singapore history, and also there were 'atap chee' (colorful biscuits, many singaporeans would term it as their 'favourite childhood biscuit') given away for free! I was so happily eating them that I forgot to take a picture of these gems, *grins*

This plate of beef pizza is a great mouth-watering dish. I forewarn you that the pizza base is not at all dough or bread-like, but more of a crispy biscuit? It's simply beef above a biscuit, or crackers. But the beef was so delicious, a definite must-try. It cost about $14.90, quite a bomb eh but it's beef!

My brother ordered a plate of Fried Kway Teow, and he kept complaining throughout the dinner that it tasted like Hor Fun instead. I tried a few mouthfuls and oh my, there were no visible egg, and there was gravy and sauce and it JUST TASTED LIKE HOR FUN! We told the waiter twice in order to ensure that they brought the right dish (because the restaurant was selling Hor Fun as well), and they kept insisting that it was Fried Kway Teow. I wouldn't recommend this dish for sure, because even if it was Hor Fun (or fried kway trow, for the matter), it tasted really really bad.

We also ordered a portion of chicken to share, and it was really huge, 3 people shared it together and couldn't finish it. The truffle fries that came alongside with it was very fresh perfected with a tangy marinate! It costs about $16.90.

Because the truffle fries were so delicious, we decided to order another side dish of truffle fries to share. I have to emphasize that this is not your ordinary fries that you eat at fast-food restaurants or Swensens, etc. They must have a secret recipe because it's really good and it's not so oily *clap hands*!

They sell a wide variety of desserts as well and I believe it is made on-the-spot (not like those coffee joints where they keep it on the refrigerators for 4-days before throwing it away), with a little bit of artisan decorations that made it look really appetizing. So we got a Strawberry cheesecake, and not before long, it was devoured and was GONE! This is highly recommended even if you're not a fan of desserts. I guess it's something refreshing to taste!

Overall, we believe that the restaurant is great for its' ambience/environment, and the food was not all-that fantastic and the price was similar to Marche's. It's good for big family or friend gatherings, and not so for couple dating if you're more inclined towards having your taste buds delighting in good food!
