I have always heard of the bean curd war at Old Airport Rd hawker centre, and since I was there this morning for my breakfast, I decided to try out one of the many Beancurd stalls. So 51 was the nearest, I decided to give it a shot and this is my FIRST time trying one there - well I must say the moment I placed my plastic spoon into the bean curd to get a scoop it sliced through the bean curd unlike any other bean curd Ive eaten before. The consistency of was silky and slightly powdery too


For $1.50 the chilled almond bean curd was a welcoming treat during this hot weather

I thoroughly enjoyed it and would come back to try the other fanciful flavors like mango and strawberry bean curd soon I hope
