This was quite a refreshing change from the usual sugar-overloaded sundaes. The ice cream was rich, smooth and creamy with a hint of buttery fragrance– a hallmark of all Swensen's ice cream. The lightly salted Gula Melaka ice cream was quite unique in flavour and had the right combination of sweet and saltiness. One of their better offerings I must say! Sirloin Steak ($22.50++)
Sadly, the same couldn't be said for the mains. The Sirloin Steak was not at all appetising nor satisfying. It tasted more like frozen beef and was dry and tough in texture. The sides consisted of some boiled vegetables and potatoes that were relatively healthier alternatives to fries and the likes. Once again, as with many other dessert-focused joints such as Bakerzin & TCC, indulge in the desserts and skip the mains!
