After dance class on Saturday, I met up my friend for dinner. Having heard so many good reviews for Maison Ikkoku, we decided to try this place for ourselves. There were so many dishes we wanted to try, but we settled on the French Toast with Banana. And for that additional order, BACON!!! not the turkey bacon but fatty and oh-so-delicious pork bacon. When it come, both of us just had one word in our minds: WOW! There were two big and thick slices of french toast. On top of these were generous slices of bananas and walnuts. Then it was drizzled in caramel sauce. To balance the sweetness, there was a scoop of yogurt plus 6 pieces of bacon. It was sinfully good, the bread was soaked just right with milk and the caramel complemented it really well. The bacon was crispy, but not to the point where it's hard to chew/bite.

I heard that coffee here is the best. My friend ordered it and he said that it's better than most coffee chains in SG. Maybe next time, I'll try it as well.
