A bowl of steaming hot bak kut teh costs about $6.50 for a small bowl. You can't miss out on the thick and tender pork ribs meat that pairs so well with black sauce and rice. The soup base is clear and peppery. Very fragrant, but not overwhelmingly herbal which leaves you wanting for more. It also pairs so well with the crispy you tiao, which you can order too. Thankfully, the soup can be refilled regularly. The staff are efficient and helpful, but it may be difficult to get their attention as they are so busy. I would also order a plate of local vegetable, Chye sim ($3.50). The portion is surprisingly generous and would definitely help make my meal a more healthy one
