There is always room for dessert after dinner. We headed to Salted Caramel, ice-cream parlour located at Upper Thomson Road for ice-cream. It’s walking distance from Marymount MRT station from exit A which took 10-15 minutes to arrive. There is always room for dessert after dinner. We headed to Salted Caramel, ice-cream parlour located at Upper Thomson Road for ice-cream. It’s walking distance from Marymount MRT station from exit A which took 10-15 minutes to arrive. There is also other ice-cream shop along the road which gives the nearby residents and customers a wide range of choice for sweet tooth. It was crowded with people in the shop. We joined in the queue. There were 3 staffs managing the whole operation but only one staff is taking the order. The operation is lead by the young teenagers and they are quite friendly when attending to customers.We placed our order at the cashier counter and paid upon ordering. We were given the waiting number and headed to our seats.

 We ordered triple scoop which costs S$7.00 + homemade waffle S$3.50 and choice of syrup- chocolate or maple syrup. We choose chocolate syrup of course as chocolate is my all time favourite. A single scoop,double and triple scoop costs $3, $5 and $7 respectively.

The staff will serve us the dessert that we ordered. The waffles are nicely done and the thickness was just nice to go with the ice-cream. The waffles are crispy on the outside and moist inside which perfect to go with ice-cream. We ordered Nutella, Avocado & salted caramel ice-cream to go with the waffles. All the flavors are new to me. Nutella taste wasn’t that sweet that I thought of. It was just ok only. As for the avocado, it’s something new to me as the taste of it doesn’t make u feel like its avocado at all. The taste was quite bland. Salted caramel indeed tastes salty just like the description but its ok for me only.

The shop looks bright and clean to me due to the interior design uses white paint and the brightness of the lights lightens up the shop. There are indoor and outdoor seats available and we managed to get indoor seat despites on people flowing in after dinner. It was quite lucky for us.The atmosphere was quite vibrant as you can hear people talking here and there. It is not a place for chilling out especially when it is crowded with people. There are people waiting for your seats once you finish your desserts. So, we are unable to hang around for too long after we are done with our desserts though.
