Ordered for 2 scoops of ice-cream on top of a waffle dizzled with maple syrup. Got the green tea and their signature sea-salt caramel icecream! Both icecream was good as the greentea has the authentic taste of matcha and the sweetness of caramel is mild. The waffle is served warm and light crispy on the surface so the combination of good quality icecream and the fluffiness of waffle is yummy! And we took small cups of water that is self-service at the back of the cafe area.

Salted Caramel is a quite well-known ice cream parlour in Singapore. Its one and only outlet in Upper Thomson is not too wide, but clean, warm and homey. As I entered the shop, the fragrant aroma of waffle burst out. Mmmpphh! They offer many varieties of ice cream flavors, such as Nutella, earl grey, cookies & cream, and even Baileys. This was my very first try on Salted Caramel, and I'm impressed! Initially, I thought it would be weird to have a salty flavoured ice cream (hence I didn't try salted caramel flavoured ice cream until now) but I take back my words! This ice cream has a perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness. Definitely want this again!

My friend and I decided to try Salted Caramel for their ice cream as we have tried Udders before and we thought of trying something new. Besides ice cream, I was surprised that they have coffee as well. All scoops cost the same regardless of flavour and if you get two or three scoops, it is slightly cheaper. Ordered waffles with ice-cream for $9.10. The flavours I picked were chocolate and cookies and cream. The chocolate flavour was really rich and chocolate lovers will definitely love this as it was not sweet too. The taste of the cookies and cream was more skewed to the cream (vanilla) side and I find it average only. The texture of the ice-cream was very smooth but it melted at a faster-than-comfortable pace. The waffles were aromatic and were fluffy. Definitely worth a try!

We ordered the homemade waffle with horlicks tim tam and salted caramel. The price was rather affordable. It cost me and my friend $9.90 for that waffle meal which i think was quite worth it considering the service and environment of the store. But the bad thing was that it was hard to find the place as we took public transport there. There were many other interesting flavours too but we were too full to continue eating.

I ordered a scoop of avocado ice cream and dined within the simple confines of salted caramel here. Visited this store on a hot weekday afternoon as I have been hearing a lot about the ice cream from my friends. Ordered the salted caramel and earl grey ice cream on a waffle bowl. Ice cream was really good in my opinion, I especially liked the earl grey one as it had a really nice fragrant tea aftertaste, salted caramel one was not bad as well, might be a bit jelat after a few bites. Still really yummy nevertheless!

Salted Caramel is an ice cream haven for all ice cream lovers. I ordered salted caramel and earl grey ice cream to go with my hot and fluffy waffle.One scoop goes for $3 but you get a discount of $1 if you order two scoops at $5 while the waffle is $3.Hence, i paid a total of $8.The portion is quite big and i can share it with another friend.Personally my all time favourite flavour is salted caramel.There are many other flavours available so do check them out.

Salted Caramel is definitely underrated (maybe not to the residents of Thomson though!). For those of us who don't live in the area, a trip to Salted Caramel is testament to their devotion towards this artisanal ice cream creamery.
