It is like seeing a doctor in the clinic, you will need to take a number first and wait for your turn. There is a LED board displaying the number right in front of the stall. When your number is displayed then you go to the stall, hand in your number tag and then place your order. I usually take a number first and then go order other foods and get a seat near the rojak stall to wait for my number appeared on the LED board. I ever asked the boss once for his reason to have such a numbering system
I usually take a number first and then go order other foods and get a seat near the rojak stall to wait for my number appeared on the LED board. I ever asked the boss once for his reason to have such a numbering system. He said, the long waiting time is part of the reason as they make an effort to grill every you tiao before cutting it and mixing with the sauce and the rest of ingredients like pineapple, turnip, cucumber, bean sprouts etc.
I enjoyed the crispiness of the you tiao as well as the tau pok even after mixing with the sauce, i can still clearly taste the crispy texture. The prawn paste used is of excellent quality but the grounded peanuts tasted just normal.
Recommended.
