Popped into Hediard for some Parisian tea and cakes. I love their macarons, which are bigger than normal macarons, but of course, cost more. It's about $6++ a piece of macaron. Every month, it's a new flavour of macaron. This one is an imported fruity marzipan flavour, which is very unique and simply delicious! Marzipan in an almond shell! Perfect for almond lovers! Could not have enough of it. Perfectly made. Rather sweet, though. The tea was a Hediard blend. Flowery and fruit. Comes in a pot bu
The tea was a Hediard blend. Flowery and fruit. Comes in a pot but it was so hot it took forever to cool down before I could drink it. No bitter tannins! Great flavour. Very refreshing! I was instantly picked up after having the tea. Tea costs about $7.50++ per pot.
Love the tea set everything is served in. Wonderful pieces.
The decor of the place is a bit dark and everything is RED. A bit of a red overkill.
The staff are polite but a bit slow. And not super helpful either. When asked about the groceries in the attached store, they have no clue about anything!
Recommended to rest your weary soul!
