Recently in Nee Soon East area, there is a newly opened ice creamery called Holy Cow. It is located under a HDB block. It serves quality ice cream & sorbets made fresh in-house, as well as, drinks such as coffee and fizzes. There is both indoor and outdoor dine in area.Although the range of ice-creams looks limited, but they sound interesting. For seasonal flavour, there is Rudolph ice cream which is the taste of Christmas, with Cinnamon ice cream with ginger bread. The ice cream is divided into
I have selected Salted Gula Melaka ice-cream (which is Classic range of ice-cream) and Elvis (which is Premium range of ice-cream) for the waffle. The Elvis ice cream which is consists of peanut butter, bananas and chocolate, is a taste of the King's breakfast. It has a smooth banana and not too chocolatey taste. The Salted Gula Melaka ice-cream, which is consists of coconut and palm sugar, has a strong taste of gula melaka. The waffle is quite crispy but a bit overdone as it tastes on the edge of bitterness. Inside I feel it is still a bit lacking of being fluffy.
As Christmas season is coming, the cafe is also offering Mint and Ginger Bread flavour for Latte, Mocha and Chocolate drinks.
Through the staff's recommendation, I order this drink. There is barely any latte art in the drink at first glance. The ginger bread taste overpowered the latte's taste.
Overall the place is quite relaxing and cosy as it is quite small. The ice-cream is really quite nice and delicious here. A great find under a HDB block.
