For my friend's birthday this year, we bought him a tiramisu cake from Han's, located at Marina Square! It was pretty funny, cause when he blew out the candles, all the chocolate powder on the top of the cake flew onto the table and it caused quite a mess! The cake was layered with cream, chocolate and sponge cake at the bottom. Traditional tiramisu is made with mascarpone, but i this cake has more cream than mascarpone in my opinion. However, my friends all commented that they did tasted a bit of cheese in the cake. I didn't find the cake very delicious, partly because i really disliked cream cakes. Thankfully, the cream wasn't the normal thick types.
Overall, the cake looked really pretty & classy but didn't measure up quite as much in taste. I would definitely go for Bakerzin's New Yoke Cheese Cake anytime instead!
A 1kg cake cost about $40 which is a little pricey to me for a normal tasting cake.
