Met up with an ex-colleague for dinner last week. I wanted to try the famed Ayam Penyet at Lucky Plaza so she brought me there. I ordered the grilled chicken and orange juice. Upon first bite of the chicken with the chili, my eyes immediately watered. Yes, it was THAT HOT! I gulped on my orange juice until my glass was only half full. I gulped on my orange juice until my glass was only half full. Too bad for me, the chicken was really sensational, it's just that my tastebuds are still not used to that level of spiciness.

I still ate it though, bit by bit. And FYI, had 2 glasses of OJ and even drank my ex-colleagues remaining iced tea. Don't know if I'll go back there anytime soon. Maybe as soon as my taste buds get used to spicy foods!
