I love the bread and pastries from Crystal Jade. If only they could open more outlets.. I bought the original wife's biscuit (lao po bing) in a box of 4. The skin is very crispy and fresh. The filling is fragrant and not too sweet. You can heat it up in the oven and it tastes even better. The biscuit does not feel oily. It is definitely one of the better lao po bing around. There are other flavors, such as the the lotus paste.
