Just right after breakfast on a public holiday morning, we walk across the road to check out some Teochew Kueh.Yong's Teochew Kueh has been around at the shop houses of Upper Serangoon Road for a long time. Interior floor space was rather limited and crowded with patrons lining up for their food as well as the workers rushing here and there in preparation of the items. There are no seatings available inside the shop but there are 1 or 2 tables right outside them. Interior looked ather traditional pieced up by small pieces on floor titles and traditional white tiles on the wall. There will be one section right at the left side of the shop where we can get to see the live demonstration of how a fried popiah is done. After queuing for a short while in a shop, you will find yourselves smell full of teochew snacks. Besides selling traditional Kuehs, Yong do have fried bee hoon for the breakfast and Yam paste for desserts.

Png Kueh perhaps looked more towards the original as they do not have
any pink coloring on their skin. If you asked my preference, my vote
will definitely goes to the white.
