Walk past this ice cream parlour and the first thing you'll smell are the waffles... that's Andersen's marketing strategy.I'm not big on ice cream on its own so my boyfriend and I ordered apple crumble with 2 ice cream flavours - I think we got milk & cookies (or some vanilla flavour) and this Belgian choc one. The pie was so-so, but the crust was good. I ended up gobbling up the pie crust towards the end, leaving the apple filling behind. The ice cream was pretty okay - like I said I'm not big on ice cream - but I do admit the Belgian choc flavour was awesome.
One thing I really like about Andersen's is the quality of ice cream - you can tell it's very good just by scooping bits of it out. Take a closer look at it next time and you'll see what I mean.
