Yum Cha is famous for its dim sums, and it was a natural choice for us to go there for our dim sum fix especially when we are in chinatown. We went for ala carte since it wasn't the buffet timing yet. We ordered the usuals like the siew mai, har gow, century egg porridge, chee cheong fun and egg tarts. Other than the century egg porridge, I thought that the rest of the dishes are tasty, especially the egg tarts. It is crusty and eggy and the small size meant that I can easily pop two into my mouth consecutively. The century egg porridge was a let down because for its price, I would expect more ingredients, but it was quite little and the taste wasn't that fantastic. Overall, still good, just that I will not order the porridge on my next trip.
