It all began when i tasted the Penang Version of Ngo Hiong (Wu Xiang) in my GF cousin's baby shower. The Ngo hiong was very different is was packed with meat. Stripped marinated pork strips instead of the usual mince pork and prawn blend. He told me that he got it catered from the small eating joint near his apartment near the main road. So a few days later, we decided to give it a try. The Penang Laksa was awesome. Its tangy soup will leave you craving for more. It loaded with Fish flakes, pine

The Penang Laksa was awesome. Its tangy soup will leave you craving for more. It loaded with Fish flakes, pineapples and cucumber stripes . Not to mention a spoonful of shrimp paste on top of it. This was the best penang laksa that i ve tried in singapore and trust me that this place serve the best and the most authentic penang laksa in singapore. Price a bit steep though, $7.90 per bowl.

Penang Char Kuay Teow taste okay, but the serving is a little pathetic.

So finally here comes the Penang Version of Ngo Hiong, where the locals call it lo bak. It stripes of marinated pork stripes wrapped in bean curd skin. I believe they use pork neck meat which has tender and juicy texture. This dish is highly recommended for meat lovers. Penang Laksa and the succulent Lo Bak are the must try dishes if you were to visit this joint.

Don't forget to try out their recommended Lime Juice with Nutmeg, a perfect blend to quench your thirst.
