At Bangkok Jam, we had lunch for 4 .The pineapple fried rice had pineapple cubes ,a few large prawns  and cachew nuts. It was fragrant and delicious. We shared the rice ,it was not a big bowl as we had other food coming.The fried items were spring rolls and and Thai fish cake. The sauce that came with them made the dish even tastier.We regretted asking for the green curry bowl and rice set. Since there were 4 of us,I thought that the bowl would be bigger but as you can see it was only as small bowl .I found out later that you can order a la carte a bigger bowl for $14.90 with no rice. The Phad Thai fried kway teow comes with condiments, chilli powder ,pounded nuts to go with your noodles . The restaurant is cozy and the waitresses are friendly and efficient. Not many people were there at 8.20 pm on a Saturday, so our food came quickly. The sliced fish noodles is always so tasty. You must drink the soup. The fish head  and sliced fish is famous. The fried bee hoon is unusual. Outside I always get them soaked in sauce. Here they sit at the bottom and the sauce and meat poured on them. You have to mix them and soaked the bee hoon with the sauce .So the result is crunchy bee hoon with delicious sauce.The Hor fun and the hui fan are delicious, just Cantonese style. We ordered one dish of vegetable - oyster sauce, garlic fried lettuce. Ordered it all the time. the ramen is put into a huge clay pot with a funnel on top. The pot has been heated.Then pour the soup into the pot and the heat cooks the noodles with sizzling heat.The funnel allows the steam to escape and 5 mins later you can eat. Still you may want to wait .The soup is very hot.  One flavoured egg is given and 4 hard boiled eggs are on the table if you want them. The set comes with a free drink.
