So…How Do I Earn EXP?

First off, be an OpenRicer! All registered OpenRice users earn EXP for submitting food reviews on our website. Plus, we reward extra EXP to foodies with discerning tastebuds and a keen eye for excellent quality photos and reviews.

	Post a Review (without photos)*	30 EXP
	Post a Review (with photos)*	80 EXP
	Editor’s Choice Review**	additional 100 EXP
	Be the First To Submit a review for any restaurant. (with photos)*	additional 50 EXP
	Submit at least 4 unique dish photos (with dish names) in a review ***	additional 80 EXP (Starts 3 Feb)
	Submit food photos (with dish names) for places with less than 5 dish photos	5 EXP per photo (Starts 3 Feb)

How to add photos?

Via Desktop:
Go the dining place listing and click on ‘Photo’ tab.
Click on the ‘Add Photos’ button and upload your photos.

Via Mobile App
Go the dining place listing on the mobile app. Click on the icons at the bottom of the screen. Once it opens, click on ‘Upload Photo’ and select your photos to upload.

* All reviews submitted must be reflective of actual dining experiences and are subject to approval. OpenRice reserves the right to reject reviews that are too generic or does not provide accurate information, based on our review guidelines.

** Editor’s Choice reviews are determined by the quality of the photos and content. OpenRice Editors reserve the right to determine what qualifies as an Editor’s Choice review.

***Multiple photos of the same dish will not be eligible. Bakery, take away and catering items may not be applicable as well.

Great! But How do I check my EXP?

Step 1: Log into your OpenRice Account

Step 2: Go to your profile page. Click on the “More” tab.

Step 3: Click on “OpenRice EXP”

Step 4: View the points accumulated for the month. Records of total points for each month can be viewed under the Month section.
EXP are under the “Newly Added EXP”.

Yes! I have enough EXP! How do I redeem the prizes?

You can mix & match any of the prizes listed as long as the total Experience Points (EXP) required is lesser than or equal to the total amount of EXP you have accumulated for that month.

(e.g. To redeem a $20 Voucher from NYDC (1500 EXP) + $80 Capitaland Voucher (4700 EXP), you will need to have at least 6200 EXP accumulated within that month)

Can I bring forward my un-redeemed EXP over to the next month?
No. All EXP are calculated on a month-by-month basis and cannot be carried forward to the next month. All un-redeemed EXP will be forfeited.
