10 chicken wings (halves) DOM Liquer Shredded gingers Green spring onions (cut into long sticks) Chinese parsley (for deco purposes)
Seasoning
1 tbsp of raw brown sugar (can use normal sugar, too) 1 or 2 tbsp of light soy sauce 1 tbsp of cooking oil 1 tbsp of sesame seeds oil
Method
1. Heat up pan with the cooking oil. Fry the shredded gingers till lightly browned, add in some cut green spring onions and brown sugar. 2. Lower the flame and stir till the sugar is totally dissolved. Add in the sesame seeds oil and chicken wings and stir-fry in a higher flame. 3. Add in the light soy sauce, and then pour in the DOM liquer till the chicken wings are totally covered. I prefer thicker flavor so I used only the DOM but can add some boiled water according to own preferences. 4. Close the pan and bring it to a boil, then lower the flame and let it simmer for 15-25mins. Check and turn the chicken wings in between to ensure even cooking. Once the liquid is reduced and slightly caramelized, add in another splashed of DOM liquer and its ready. 5. Garnish with some green spring onions and Chinese parsley.
