For Patties 1 tablespoon olive oil 100 g minced onion (lightly fried with olive oil until soft) 150 g minced beef + 100 g minced pork 1/3 tablespoon salt pinch of black pepper 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg 2 tablespoon of breadcrumb 2 tablespoon of milk 1 egg
For the Sauce 1/2 cup chicken stock 1/2 cup red wine 1 teaspoon worcester sauce 1 clove grated garlic 10 g butter mushroom (optional)
Method
For Patties 1. Mix minced pork and beef, minced onion, salt, pepper, nutmeg, breadcrumb, milk and egg in a large bowl.
2. Divide mixture into 2 patties, 1.5 cm thick.
3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a frying pan, cook patties 7-8 minutes on each side or until the color is brown.
For Sauce 1. After removing done patties, leave the oil residue in the frying pan. Pour stock and cook until it simmers. Add red wine, grated garlic, mushroom (optional) and finally butter. Cook until the liquid reduces by half.
2. Pour sauce over the hamburg patties and serve it with boiled potato, broccoli or a simple salad.
