Happy Call Specials - Hainanese Pork Chop

Fusion of Western and Asian cuisine, the Hainanese Pork Chop is served in many households.
Ingredient and Portion
350g Pork Chop (pork collar, sliced thinly)
Vegetable oil for deep frying
1 tsp Flour
Bread crumbs for coating
55g Green peas
1 Tomato
1/2 Onion sliced thinly
1 Egg

Marinate:
1/4 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Salt
Pepper to season

Seasoning for Sauce:
1/2 tsp Chicken seasoning (optional)
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tsp rice vinegar
Method
1. Tenderise pork chop and marinate pork chop for 30mins
3. For sauce, heat Happy Call Pan and add oil
4. Add onion slices and fry til fragrant
5. Add flour and stir fry for another minute
6. Add the seasoning, tomato and green peas and simmer on low heat
4. Heat enough oil in another Happy Call Pan to deep fry pork chop
5. Place breadcrumbs on a shallow plate and coat marinated pork chop with egg and breadcrumbs
6. Pre-heat Happy Call Pan (for pork chop) on medium high heat and deep fry the coated pork chop until golden brown, about 3 mins on each side.
7. Remove and place on oil blotters. Slice deep fried pork chop and top with sauce and green peas
