1 small yam (peeled and diced/sliced into strips) 1/2 cup dried prawns (pre-soaked in water) 10 medium sized dried mushrooms (soaked in water for an hour, sliced and marinated in 1 tbs fish sauce - keep the water used the soak mushrooms) 1 cup rice flour 2 1/2 cup stock (Water from mushroom + 1 tbs Woh Hup Chicken Concentrated stock) 1/4 tsp five spice powder 1/4 tsp pepper 1 tsp light soya sauce
(Add the following garnishes according to preference) Fried shallots Spring onion, chopped Red chilli, cut into thin strips
Method
1) Place yam cubes and rice flour into rice cooker with water and steam together in rice cooker 2) Mash up the yam in between the procedure 3) Add 1 tbs of oil on heated Happy Call Pan and fry the dried prawns till fragrant 4) Add in sliced mushroom and let simmer for 2-3 minutes 5) Add in mashed yam mixture into the pan 6) Season with 1 tsp of light soya sauce and pan-fry for 2-3 min 7) Add in 2 1/2 cup of stock mixture 8) Keep stirring mixture till a dough like misture is formed 9) Shape it into a block and cover Happy Call Pan. Lock it and continue to let it cook for 8 min on medium fire on 1 side 10) Flip the pan and cook for 7 min on the other side
