Marble cakes are great tea snacks. It's not too heavy, but is just right. Best served with coffee.
Ingredient and Portion
250g self raising flour
5 eggs
200g fine sugar
250g butter
Chocolate chip
Method
1. Sieve flour & set aside.
2. Melt the chocolate with some hot water or use microwave (do not need to turn to high heat in case burnt).
3. Cream butter with sugar together until yellowish white in mixer.
4. Add the eggs slowly, (pour in gradually & mix in).
5. Add the sieved flour gradually and mix in.
6. Pour the mixture into the pan.
7. Add the melted chocolate and stir in using chopstick.
8. On low heat cook for 10mins but move the pan ard every 2 mins or so.
9. Flip over and cook for 10mins (also move the pan ard every 2 mins).
