Here's a twist to the usual marble cake recipes we know. Why not add milo to give it a more chocolatey taste?
Ingredient and Portion
250 g of salted butter
250 g of self raising flour - no need to sieve
220-250 g of fine sugar
6 eggs - beaten up - no need to separate white and yolk
Milo
Method
1. Mix the softened butter and sugar in the mixer till the mixture is white.
2. Slowly add the eggs into the mixture bit by bit.
3. Slowly add the self raising flour into the mixture.
4. Milo is optional - depending on your preference.
5. Baking Time using HCP - Learnt from the various HCP ShiFu on the timing and low fire
6. Glaze the HCP with the butter remains
7. Pour the mixture into the HCP...for marble cake effect, put some milo.
8. On low fire for 8-10 mins
9. Flip over to the othe side for another 8 - 10 mins
