1 small yam, peel the skin and cut into small cubes
1/2 bowl dried prawns, soak in water (can vary the amount)
250g rice flour / 1 cup rice flour 500ml water / 2 cups water 1/4 tsp five spice powder 1/4 tsp pepper 1 tsp salt
Garnishing: Fried shallots Spring onion, chopped Red chilli, cut into thin strips
Method
Method : 1) Steam the Yam cubes while cooking rice in the rice cooker. 2) Add all the ingredients except YAM cubes into the HCP and mix. Should get a watery mixture. 3) Add the yam cubes into the mixture 4) While on the fire, keep stirring the mixture until it is able to form a "dough" 5) Shape it into a block look. 6) Cover the HCP cover, lock it and continue to let it cook for 15 mins on medium fire. 7) The end product should looks greyish. NOTE: Let it COOL down before removing it from the HCP. (it will harden). Also can serve it hot, but will be rather soft diffcult to cut it up.
