Here's a different way of preparing Hokkien Mee: zi char style
Ingredient and Portion
10 prawns
100g pork
1 pc fish cake
1 tsp garlic
1 packet fortune brand Hokkien Mee
400ml water
Chye Sim as much as u like
Seasoning
1/2 chicken cube
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1/2 tbsp light soy sauce
1/2 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp sesame oil
Method
1. Shell prawns, cut pork, fish cake and chye sim.
2. Heat 2 tbsp oil, fry garlic till fragrant add prawn, pork and fish cake. Fry evenly and dish out set aside.
3. Pour water and seasoning into pan, cook for 2 mins.
4. Add noodles cook for 5 mins.
5. Open pan stir the noodles. Add vegetables and cook for another 5 minutes.
6. Open pan stir in prawns, pork, fish cake cook till fairly dry.
7. Ready to serve
