If you have not come across any bread that is cottony soft and gives a full bodied flavour, hit any of the 3 Barcook Bakery outlets within the Central Business District (CBD) today and get wowed. Being an azuki bean fan, I also had a bite on their Red Bean Custard Bun and amazed by its special creation. This bun may look ordinary. However, the texture and lightly salted taste of the bun kicked my tastebud through a bed of red bean and custard. Albeit the red bean was rather sweet, this bun complemented well with any English Tea or Earl Gray Tea for a wonderful tea-break to those who have a sweet tooth.
Lastly, make sure you enter Barcook Bakery with an empty stomach as there is a host of breads and cakes for you to spoil for choices.
