Saw a bright red banner hanging outside the coffee shop that reads, "Opening Promotion for the month - All kind of soup selling at $1." Curiosity struck me. Wow. $1 is definitely cheap! I should just settle my dinner by eating this $1 meal. Being so cheap, definitely business was good. A lot of the soup were already sold out and left only this Lotus root with pork soup and the old cucumber soup. With a plate of rice that they charged for $0.50. My dinner only cost $1.50! Though it's cheap, they did not cut down on the ingredients used in the soup. There's lotus, pork ribs and peanuts. Maybe the pork ribs wasn't such a big chunk but it's enough to fill my stomach. Also, black sauce was spread onto the plain white rice to make it more tasty.
Next week onwards, the $1 promotion would be on their porridge. Do visit this stall before the promotion ends at the end of July.
