Not knowing what to have for lunch, we decided to check out on Barcelos as what attracted us was the peri sauce which they provides for the customers. I've seen restaurants like nando's serving grill chicken with the sauce so i tot of trying.My set comes in 1/4 chicken platter with roasted potatoes and sauteed mushrooms, spicy hot wedges. Other than chicken, they do have burgers options as well. Chicken burger with pineapple and cheese, served with coleslaw.
The signature here is there are 4 kinds of peri sauce to choose from. I opt for supa peri, the hottest of all! LolzIt's spicy but unlike the taste of chili sauce, has a numb effect on the tongue but not like tobasco sauce which is uncomfortable to the throat. I would say peri sauce is a combi of both!
