This is definitely one of my favourite hangouts in NUS due to its close proximity to the Kent Ridge Bus terminal. I was first brought there during my orientation camps for a late night supper and unlike some of my peers who love to frequent the prata shop or fong seng, i prefer to patronize this stall for their handmade noodles. My friends simply adored the za jiang mian ( mixed noodles with sauce) and for me I loved their milk tea, ban mian, ru rou mian- all Taiwanese local delicacies. The dao xiao mian is also awesome too! During lunchtime, it can a little crowded with students and working adults and outside the peak hour, I like how it can be an ideal meeting place for friends to just chill and enjoy the contemporary and classic chinese music blasted from the stereos. Depending on the crowd, sometimes you are required to pay at the counter straight away and on other times, the 'aunty' will just take our order straight away. The price is also very affordable, ranging from 4-5 dollars per person
