I was walking around the food court at Clementi Mall and saw this stall which seems to have an unique offering. Sour & Spicy bee hoon. At $3.50 a bowl, it seems like a very good deal too. The bee hoon is not the usual kind we get. It's a little thicker like glass noodle. It was springy and had a nice crunch when you eat it. The soup base as stated was sour & spicy. A little like mala but not as powerful in terms of spice. I like that i's a little sour too that gives the soup a well balanced. the

The bee hoon is not the usual kind we get. It's a little thicker like glass noodle. It was springy and had a nice crunch when you eat it.
The soup base as stated was sour & spicy. A little like mala but not as powerful in terms of spice. I like that i's a little sour too that gives the soup a well balanced. there were minced pork mixed in it as well.
Only problem I had was that the soup was also a bit oily. But overall, it's worth a try.
