My hubby and I are breakfast persons. We like to try out breakfast at different places. Last Sunday we were at Ngee Ann City. We reached before 10am and realised that there were not many choices for breakfast there. We passed by Coffee Bean Bistro, their breakfast set is about $16-18. After walking aimlessly for a while, I suddenly thought of Paul at level 3.The breakfast set is rather simple. The breakfast set is rather simple. It consists of 2 eggs, 2 slices of grain bread, sautee potato (in place of unhealthy harshbrown), cherry tomato and 1 big slice of ham. It costs $9.80 (before GST & service charge).

The down side is that, this set does not come with coffee/ tea. I ordered a flat white coffee, cost $5.60. It is rather small cup compare to Starbuck.

The breakfast set and coffee appear reasonably priced on the menu. But after GST and service charge, the bill was $29.50. The price is not cheap. But the furnishing and decor of the cafe compensated it. We were given a window seat, so the whole breakfast experience was nice. It makes you feel that you are in overseas cafe.

It is unlikely that I will return for breakfast. But I will drop by for some nice french bread if I am around that area. For coffee that price, Starbuck is better.
