This Niang Dou Fu stall at Ayer Rajah Hawker Centre only open from morning to Lunch and it was always long queue. Today, when I see the queue was shorter, I went to have a try. This Niang Dou Fu stall at Ayer Rajah Hawker Centre only open from morning to Lunch and it was always long queue. Today, when I see the queue was shorter, I went to have a try. The queue was fast even though there was about 5 person infront.

The signboard wrote that all the Niang Dou Fu were homemade. There were quite a number of varieties of Niang Dou Fu to choose from. I chose 10 items and total cost $5. The condiments such as sweet sauce, chilli sauce and crushed crispy pork lard were self serviced.

The dark purple sweet sauce tasted very good with fermented bean taste and was mild salty and sweet. The Niang Dou Fu also tasted good and was pre-fried, with generous fish paste in it. Although I ordered dry version of Niang Dou Fu, there was a small bowl of soup given. The soup tasted good with soya bean and pork broth taste.

Overall, this Niang Dou Fu was good but the prices I felt was slightly high for a meal in hawker centre.
