I always wanted to try Filipino food especially their Lechon but their stalls are always out of way. Finally, there was a branch of famous LechonSG opened at the Clementi Central.From the menu, there was Lechon Meal and BBQ Pork, I was unsure which one to order as they looked similar. The Lechon Meal smelt very nice, there was this roasted suckling pig aroma. The skin of the pork was very crispy like suckling pig, however there was a sourish vinegar taste, I guessed was the marinate. The fatty pork meat was heavenly, it melts in your mouth. It was so tender and soft.
The brown sauce given tasted similar to chinese plum sauce. When the roasted pork dipped into the brown sauce, it tasted so good.
Overall, this Lechon Meal tasted very good, though I find that the prices were slightly high as compared to local roasted meat rice.
