Im carving for Fried Squid cos the last time I had during Eeling's birthday dinner at Lai Huat is a little disappointing. This is super crispy & sweet!

Apart from the above, we also ordered some usual stuffs like Broccoli with Scallop, Curry Fish Head, Salted Egg Prawn (The salted egg dish here is slightly different as we the egg white is still visible), Chai Po Egg & Fish Maw Soup.

Back here again for out weekly dinner, all the way from Teck Whye & Woodlands. Instead of rice, we had Stir-fried Tang Hoon, which taste pretty normal. The tang hoon was also lumped together. Cereal Squid. As usual, can't get enough of the cereal & the squid is nicely done! The lady taking our order asked if we want to order Broccoli w/ Scallop because she remembered last week we wanted but they ran out of it! The scallop looked more than the broccoli!

We were back here for dinner after few months break cos friend was craving for the curry fish-head. Nothing much has changed here. Curry Fish Head - Not too much of the curry fragrant but fish head is fresh. Lots of vegetables in the curry too! I prefer their Assam Fish Head.Sambal sotong is nicely done; not too chewy. Sambal is not very spicy though.Initially wanted Broccoli but it ran out, so we make so with Kailan w/scallops. Nothing to rave about the kailan but the scallop is fresh & juicy.

Yearly Chinese New Year dinner with my usual gang of friends. This year the venue is at Fatty Fong Seafood Restaurant at New Upper Changi Road, a very normal zichar stall. There is always a crowd at Fatty Fong Seafood Restaurant located at Bedok. It is famous for its zi char and that’s where we had the bean curd on hotplate. It costs around $10 for a meal. The bean curd was delicate inside and the skin was tangy and crispy outside. I enjoyed the sizzling of the hotplate when the bean curd was served.

We were disappointed on that day because their steamed crab with roe had sold off. Quite a lot of people to eat at that place. Environment is corner coffee shop without aircon. Go early or late will also need to find a table to sit because the food here is cheap.
