A friend of mine brought me to this place for steam fish head, she recommended this dish highly for me. A friend of mine brought me to this place for steam fish head, she recommended this dish highly for me. After the meal I have a deep impression on it, it was fresh, taste right and plentiful of fish meat.

Subsequently, I did return for few occasions with other friends. We stick to Hongkong style of steam fish head every time. This time we have our lunch there, seating isn’t a problem as the hawker centre is huge. We wanted to have a twist for spicy bean sauce as there were many people eating this at that time, we thought it wouldn’t go any wrong, we added chilli fry big clams(大头) and garlic fry jie lan(芥兰).

Half way of our meal, we found that we have ordered too much of spicy dishes, probably we didn’t get use to spiciness as we were Cantonese. All we tasted ~ hot, hot, hot….fish head was still the same fresh and meaty, but they put too much of bean paste, it was too salty, you got to eat it with steam rice in every mouthful. Clams were fine too. Forgot the presentation of jie lan, it tasted right.

We agree that this is value for money meal, portion is generous, we will sure order our same old flavour Hongkong style on our next visit.
