Signature Dishes
I was looking for a value for money quick dinner when I came across this $6.50 recommended egg fried rice on the menu of this Chopsticks place. Their egg fried rice is ONLY with egg, rice& green garnish. There is no other ingredients hence it is too ex to pay $8. I am very disappointed with the quality of the food, although the taste is not bad and the portion is rather huge. Would not go back again

I am a creature of habit, most especially with places where I eat. I only tried Chopsticks because all of my officemates are going there so I had no choice. I did not know what to expect.I usually pass through chopsticks when I go to and from raffles mrt to my office at MBFC tower 1, and I have always been intimidated by the look fo the restauarant from the outside. It looked expensive, like most of the restaurants in the city.I was so surprised to see their prices when I sat down and browsed their menu, they do not have an extensive menu, which is ideal for me, it meant that their chef or cook can focus on their food items and master them to perfection.Our group ordered the Stew Beef Bowl, two types of roast chicken, the eggplant (non spicy), the oyster veg, and 2 kinds of fish fillet. I fell in love with the food, their serving is quite big for its price and the taste is heaven! It was like I was eating home cooked Beef Stew by my mom, and My Mom was an amazing home cook! It didnt take me more than a week to visit the restaurant again, and this time I brought my husband to enjoy the amazing food that chopsticks had, and they delivered.Great tasting food, Big serving!

This was my first visit and thank goodness, my friend was there much earlier (slightly before 12noon) to queue up for seats. We ordered spicy egg plants and the signature dish, soya chicken. The egg plants were served with spicy prawn paste and the prawn paste was really savory. Their chicken was really tender on the inside and the skin was very crispy. Thumbs up for this!

The wanton served at Chopsticks is not bad, just that the skin that they used to wrap the meat inside is a little thick. If they can improve on that, it will served the dish a better rating in taste! (:However the meat inside is tender and tasted good. It is being poured with some gravy to enhance the taste of the warm wanton.Their service is not bad as they do have chilli by the side for you to dip your wanton.
