This yong tau foo stall has a lot of varieties. I was kind of spoilt for choice as to what to choose. i tried the dry version of the yong tau foo, I ordered a couple of the ingredients together with the bee hoon and yellow noodles. The lady took pretty long to prepare my food, there was not really a lot of people as well. one thing I have to commend them is that their sweet sauce is really good, I added a couple of spoon of it. It is rather thick, not too sweet, went well with the ingredients. Most of my ingredients were deep fried till golden brown, it was very crispy as well. continue reading

Order yong tau foo soup for lunch at Yew Tee square. WE have to choose a minimum of 7 pieces excluding rice or noodles. I chose 7 pieces as required and added bee hoon. It cost me $4 bucks. There are not many varieties of ingredients to choose from. I chose mainly beancurd, fish balls, green vegetable, boiled egg, seaweed fish cake thats all. The soup has a strong fragrance of soy bean and tasted sweet. Other than the soup, the rest just looks normal to me. continue reading

Their Laksa Yong Tau Foo has a great variety of condiments for you to mix and match, followed by choosing your favourite type of noodles before choosing the soup. I like mine with laksa based soup! It is fanstatic! Their laksa is not too spicy that leaves you sweating after the meal, it is just right to keep you going on until the very last mouthful! YUMMMMMS! continue reading

Not sure if they have changed owner or is it they have hired new workers. The person serving and cooking were different, not as experienced as the previous. There was still a crowd at this stall and they were slightly unable to handle it, causing quite a chaos. The sweet sauce tasted different and not as sweet as before. This makes me wonder whether they really changed owner. The meatball that they made themselves were a little tougher too. One different taste is not enough to give a verdict. I think I will come back another time to try the food and see if they really changed owner. continue reading
