Richie’s Crispy Puff Café sells really good puffs! I particularly love the Sardine Puff. The flaky crust is super ncie and when coupled with light spiciness of the filling, it is imply heavenly! There is also egg in the filling. I would always be tempted to grab 2 on the go when I pass by the café! continue reading

When they came on board my neighbourhood, I was pretty happy cos I am a big fan of curries. I made a try and find it heavy with the spices that resulted to bitterness on the curry paste, did feedback to them and they did make a improvement on that. Their fillings were with chicken and a small portion of egg, as for the puff pastry, it was not too bad. They also sell fishballs(nearly palm size) and chicken wings as snacks, and not long ago they added Nasi Lemak and Curry chicken to their menu. Seen many people eating it but have yet to try. Will try soon. continue reading

If you happen to be at Tanglin Halt and looking for something to munch then this curry puff is an ideal choice for snack. And, even if you are hungry in the middle of the night and want a quick fix for hungry in those odd hours, this shop is 24 hours. Their puffs are well available around the clock. It shaped in the form of a semi circle and distinctly different from its competitors. It is bigger with nice flaky crust. And these puffs are available in different flavors: Curry Chicken, Sardine, Thai Spicy Crab, Black Pepper Chicken and Beef, Lemon Tuna, Mutton Curry and Vegetarian Curry. They do have durian puffs too. If you do not like puffs then they do have other snacks like fried fishballs for your pick. As for the Curry Chicken, the curry taste is rather mild with a well-balanced of spiciness with nice potato filling with chicken chunks and slice of egg. They have set meals and ice blended drinks available too. Recommended. continue reading

I was passing by the market nearby when i saw this Richie's Crispy Puff Cafe shop. I decided to buy their chicken curry puff as i have tried their curry puff at their another outlet at Blk 498 Jurong West before. At that time when i tried, their curry puff taste had left me craving for more. Another plus point of this shop is their so called "Ping Pong" fishball. It is freshly handmade and the texture is springy and crunchy. It is definitely a must try!!! Their shop design is very nice among the other shops around this neighbourhood. And their staff is very friendly. continue reading
